Since 1998, when this tool was launched, over $1B worth of systems were sold and are used in every semiconductor manufacturing fab. |

Mr. Shoham lived and worked in Tokyo, Japan for 3 years and in the Silicon Valley, California, USA for 5 years, where he gained extensive international business experience in various capital equipment segments. Dr. David Scheiner, CTO, VP R&D

Prior to joining BrightView, Dr. Scheiner held several senior technological positions at Nova Measuring Instruments, a leading supplier of metrology systems for the semiconductor market. From the year 2000 he headed the R&D of the company and was subsequently appointed CTO in 2006. He led the development of groundbreaking metrology technologies for characterization of 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional structured thin-films, putting Nova at the forefront of its industry. Previously at Indigo, now a division of HP, he was part of the team that developed the laser-scanner technology for the world’s first electronic printing press. Throughout Dr. Scheiner’s career, he has made substantial contributions to the science and engineering of optical metrology, and is named on over 15 key patents in optical metrology and optical systems. He has presented numerous papers in the field of Metrology, Inspection, and Process Control. |

Dr. Scheiner holds a B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the Technion in Israel and a Ph.D. in Solid State Physics from the Weizmann Institute of Science. His academic research was in the field of laser diodes and one-dimensional electronic devices. |

He has lived and worked in China, Japan, Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, and the US and has over ten years’ experience in Asia Pacific for companies such as SEZ and Orbotech, Previously he was the Vice President of Business Marketing and Strategic Accounts of SEZ Asia Pacific and General Manager of SEZ China. He has also been a commentator on the China semiconductor industry trends and has published several articles and presented at leading industry events.
